Job description
This position requires someone to work independently in Beijing or Shanghai as part of a large global business research team to provide information gathering/research support to internal Investment Banking clients in the areas of Finance, Equities, Marketing & Sales, and Information Technology etc. The candidates should be a researcher with relevant experiences and expected to read a large amount of English or Japanese materials to accomplish in searching accurate analytical report effectively.
Job duties
Process research requests effectively and efficiently
Utilize quantitative and qualitative research resources, tools and techniques
Develop and maintain external vendor and internal relationships
Capable of working independently but also a good team player
Coordinate and communicate in English or Japanese with internal clients and regional offices
Night shift and weekends work maybe required with allowance
Skills required
An extensive understanding of research tools and methods, demonstrated deep expertise in one or more domains and a creative approach to finding information is required
Fluency in English or Japanese with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal clients in Asia Pacific. Though Japanese is not requisite, proficiency in either English or Japanese is desired
Good verbal and written communication skills, quick thinking, decisive and self motivated
Strong time management including punctuality, appropriate sense of urgency, ability to work under intense deadline pressure
Experience/Education sought
Bachelors or above degree in Library and Information Science, Commerce, Economics and Finance etc. CET VI or JLPT I would be a plus
2—3 years experience in business research preferred
Experience working in an investment bank or consulting firm or multinational environment an added advantage |
